Demeco Kennedy Demeco Kennedy 6'3" | 270 lbs | DL Frederick Douglass | 2024 State KY is a player that has been high on our radar for a while now and continued to stand out this season. While he was limited in reps compared to other players due to blowout wins, Kennedy was dominant when on the field. He lined up at defensive tackle where he was very disruptive against the run. Kennedy has shown the ability to use his strength to fight straight through blocks and get to the ball carrier to make tackles before they can get going. He also showed the ability to rush the passer, using his speed and pass rush moves to blow by opposing offensive linemen and get to the quarterback. Demeco signed with Purdue where I can see him becoming a key piece of their defensive line once he gets there.

Demeco Kennedy Demeco Kennedy 6'3" | 270 lbs | DL Frederick Douglass | 2024 State KY is a player that has stood out to me on both sides of the ball throughout his career. During his senior year, he stood out the most on the defensive side of the ball at defensive tackle. While his stats don’t pop out due to limited reps in several blowout wins, Kennedy was dominant against the run when on the field. He showed the ability to use his strength to drive straight through blocks to get into the backfield to make tackles before the ball carrier could get going. Kennedy also showed the ability to use his speed to blow by opposing offensive linemen as a pass rusher to put pressure on the quarterback. Demeco officially signed with Purdue where I can see him becoming a key piece of their defensive line once he gets there.

Demeco Kennedy Demeco Kennedy 6'3" | 270 lbs | DL Frederick Douglass | 2024 State KY is another offensive tackle that has been high on our radar for a while now. Kennedy lines up at left tackle and played a key role in the Broncos’ 5A State Championship run this past season. He is dominant in the run game, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and create movement off the line of scrimmage. Demeco plays with a ton of physicality, finishing his blocks through the whistle, resulting in several pancake blocks. He also does a great job of picking up blocks in the open field on long runs. In pass protection, Kennedy has very impressive footwork which he uses to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge. He is also a talented defensive lineman and could play on either side of the ball at the next level. Kennedy has a long list of offers and I expect that list to continue to grow as he is a true Power 5 caliber prospect.

In the run game, he is a mauler, exploding out of his stance and driving his man out of the picture. He also does a great job of getting to the second level and picking up blocks in open space. In the passing game, he has the strength to toss opposing pass rushers to the side with ease but also shows solid footwork and the ability to protect his inside gap.
