How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Im an overall athlete i can do whatever on the defensive line

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

To beat anybody I line up in front of my personality is chill and to just show you what I can do when I get a chance.

Maybe like academic awards from football banquets

I have developed becoming more of a leader and speaking up more and big on teamwork and how we can get better as a team

I’ve faced challenges of overthinking and self doubt in myself not thinking Ik good enough or etc i just gotta get more confident and Im starting to .

What type of college are you looking for?

For anyone that wants me and will give me a chance at the Division one level

Bates has a big, strong frame and shows good agility for his size. He does a nice job shedding blockers to either side and working his way to the football. He can also slip between offensive linemen if they’re not quick enough getting into position, allowing him to create penetration up front. He understands when to get his hands up in passing lanes and can even block field goals because of his size and timing. He’s a good run stuffer who can clog things up inside and force offenses to account for him every snap. I think he helps elevate the players around him because of the matchup problems he creates up front.
