Jeremiah Brown Jeremiah Brown 5'10" | 185 lbs | LB Frederick Douglass | 2029 State KY is a player who has been gaining some interest from college coaches this offseason. He lines up at inside linebacker where he is at his best against the run. Brown explodes out of his stance and uses his speed to get to the ball carrier in a hurry, showing the strength to fight through blocks in his path. He has proven to be a very reliable tackler in the open field once he gets to the ball carrier. Brown also played a role out of the backfield at running back as a freshman. Jeremiah currently holds offers from Grambling State and Miami (OH), and I expect more to come his way as his role in the Broncos’ defense continues to grow.

Brown is a great athlete who glides all over the field. He has a good frame with good length and core strength. You can tell his frame has room to grow, and he can fill it out to be a Saturday build. He’s got good closing speed and vision on the backend. When he sees something, he trusts his eyes and gets downhill. He had a handful of PBUs and an interception this weekend while showing his potential.

Jeremiah Brown Jeremiah Brown 5'10" | 185 lbs | LB Frederick Douglass | 2029 State KY has shown the ability to make a big impact on both sides of the ball. On offense, Brown is a strong downhill ball carrier who has shown leg drive to run straight through defenders along with a very impressive stiff arm to keep defenders away from him in the open field. Once he hits the open field, Brown has also shown the burst of speed to run away from the defense on long runs. On defense, Jeremiah lines up at linebacker where he does a great job of reading the play quickly then using his speed to get to the ball carrier in a hurry to make the tackle in the open field. Brown will look to be the next in line in a continuous cycle of college prospects coming out of the Frederick Douglass program.
