After watching this game and seeing him in person at Milton, I can confidently say that I expect Bin-Wahad to emerge as the go-to target at Grayson this year. Even at his size, his footwork and wiggle flashes in his routes and allows him to get open. He has better body control and plays more physical than most receivers at his size. In space, he can stop on a dime and also accelerate through change of direction. He is a joystick with and without the ball, and has been reliable thus far.

My favorite receiver on the day and most likely my overall MVP from the position groups I scouted on Saturday, Bin-Wahad was fantastic in all three phases of the Showcase, particularly during 1-on-1s. A big play machine, Bin-Wahad was a great route-runner for his age, showing nuance in his ability to separate. He was also fantastic at the top of the route, showing off a ton of shiftiness and an ability to drop his hips. DBs couldn’t touch him, much less cover him. Superstar in the making and heading to powerhouse Grayson for high school.

was one of the best overall players at the showcase, testing and 1 v 1’s included. Bin-Wahad is an extremely shifty and fluid athlete that has an uncanny ability to create separation. His short-area quickness and ability to bait DBs left defenders in the dust all afternoon. For a smaller receiver, he was physical enough to reel in passes in tight coverage and competed well against bigger defenders.
