‘s name is at the top of the list. The four-star offensive lineman recently committed to Nebraska, choosing the Cornhuskers over an impressive list of national powers that included Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Miami, Tennessee, and Florida State. The 6-foot-4 300-pound mauler is regarded as one of the nation’s top interior offensive line prospects, even though he has shown the versatility to play tackle during his high school career. Agbanoma’s physicality at the point of attack, violent hands, and ability to consistently move defenders have made him one of the most dominant linemen in Georgia. Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule and offensive line coach Geep Wade made him a priority throughout the recruiting process, believing he has the tools to develop into an NFL-caliber offensive lineman. Before he heads to Lincoln, Agbanoma has one more mission—to lead Grayson’s offensive line and help the Rams compete for a state championship. His leadership, toughness, and experience will be critical in protecting quarterback Deuce Smith and establishing the physical identity that has become synonymous with Grayson football.
Agbanoma, now committed to Nebraska, has been on a rocket ship over the last year or so in his recruitment. He is a premier OL prospect in Georgia. Here is a recent write-up from when I reset the board back in January. He is well-covered by everyone at this point. The one word I use to describe him is “steady”. He has the size, the power, and the traits, but he is fundamentally sound and reliable at the point of attack. I think he has a strong chance to develop into a starter up front for Nebraska.
“Impressive length relative to height. Ample room for growth in lower body. Gets good depth on pass set, anchors well at bottom of set. Good pad-level. Clicks from one defender to another efficiently. Play strength developing, but works feet through whistle. Good fundamentals and upside.
I was on Agbanoma months before his first offer. Now, he has emerged as one of the premier 2027 OL prospects in the state.”
A fast-rising right tackle in Gwinnett County who really shined as a sophomore last fall, Agbanoma is a lengthy lineman with size, power, and lots of time to continue developing and perfecting his craft. Just a sophomore last fall, this promising tackle held down the right side and played really well on a consistent basis against quality defenders each week. More importantly, he helped lead the Rams to a big state championship. He already looks like a Power Four player and earned recent offers from Purdue and Nebraska. Look for more to continue coming his way over time.
