A lean, athletic left tackle for the mighty Grayson Rams, this promising junior sure didn’t look 300-pounds when he was moving defenders out of the play last year. Jones, who protected the blind side for one of the best programs in the state, showed that he has the potential to be an outstanding pass-protector at the next level due to his length, mobility, and overall potential. He’s fresh off a really strong season and has seen new offers come his way recently from Kentucky, Virginia, Colorado State, among others. Even after a really impressive 2025 season, Jones will aim to be even better as a senior. He’ll also likely see a big bump in the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings this spring.

10/27/25: Ideal frame and length. Built and holds his weight well. Good athlete, quick into his pass set, and drives his feet at contact. Takes a second to get going in the run, but he is aggressive at the point of attack. Makes aggressive use of his hands. I like the timing of his punches. Holds FBS and P4 offers. Has raw combination of size, length, and speed to stick at LT.

The Grayson Rams are loaded with talent and have another 2027 prospect in the rise in Jones. A big, powerful lineman who can play either guard or tackle, Jones is a hard-working lineman with natural strength. He’s a people-mover who is one of the top run-blocking linemen in the region for the 2027 class. He’s big, physical, and shows easy D1 talent and Power Four potential. He’ll be playing alongside other talented linemen and has a chance to make his mark for the returning state champions this fall as a junior.
