About Nate
Expert Analysis
Matt Morrow | Prep Redzone Scout
Nate is one of the most talented corners in the state, and his talent has him #2 in our rankings here. Teams rarely went against Nate last season, and he still was able to produce a couple of interceptions and multiple pass breakups on only 11 passes thrown at him all year. Nate absolutely excels in man coverage with excellent agility and burst out of his breaks on the football. Nate also played some offense at receiver and showed his speed and hands with 16 catches for 220 yards on the season. From a recruiting perspective, Nate is racking up a ton of offers with SMU, Florida, Ole Miss, Texas, Virginia Tech, Charlotte, Texas A&M, Miami, and Auburn all offering him so far this calendar year.

Even though he’s still a bit undersized, Dollard is supremely talented, and we’re not the only people to notice. He’s verging on double-digit Power Four offers from teams like NC State, Nebraska, and Florida State. He has excellent coverage skills and can lock down an opponent’s top guy, something we love to see from young corners.

Dollard’s skill set is extremely unique, something that should endear him to college coaches. He’s only around 6′, but his 79-inch wingspan is evident on film, both as a corner and as a basketball player. That’s not just a neat party trick, Dollard routinely breaks up passes no player his size should be able to reach. He’s already made his mark on Country Day’s team and should just get better and better.

Dollard has an extremely high football I.Q. and that’s on full display in his highlight film. He’s able to read double moves and complex route concepts to get in position to make plays. He’s extremely quick and his lateral movement allows him to mirror receivers in man coverage.
