Palmer is arguably the best pass rusher on the team. He is quick off the line, has good hip bend, and will use his quickness to get past the linemen. He wins with speed but has enough physicality to his game to use a bull rush and catch his lineman off guard. He is best pressing forward and attacking, but with his quickness and footwork, he could be interesting as a backer.

Palmer is an intriguing prospect who plays multiple positions including defensive end and linebacker. With his frame and style of play, I like him as a box safety at the next stage. He showcases good range and a good first step. That burst allows him to cover ground as a backer and should transfer well to safety. Palmer is a physical player, easily sheds blockers in run support, and shows good pass-rushing skills. With his closing speed and physicality, he makes for an interesting box safety without having to put too much mass on his frame.
