Mission Viejo receiver Mikey Matthews Mikey Matthews 5'10" | 180 lbs | WR Mission Viejo | 2023 State CA announced his commitment to Utah on December 1.

Matthews was the best uncommitted receiver in the state for a long time. He has improved his top end speed greatly and can make plays after the catch.

He chose Utah over 20 other schools that offered him including Arizona, Michigan and Tennessee among others.

Matthews is the fifth player from California in Utah’s 2023 recruiting class and the fourth receiver in the class.
