About Kylion

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’ve got a good motor and I make the hustle plays that don’t show up on stat sheet sometimes!! Fast, strong and elusive for sure!! Overall playmaker!!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Willing to play anywhere on the field to help the team win!! Being a great teammate means a lot to me!!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m part of Legacy U, a non-profit organization that helps kids and athletes expand their reach on and off the field. Super Honor Roll Student. I do community service often rather it be community clean ups, or working at soup kitchens during the holidays.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I specialize in teamwork. Putting the team first has always been a priority for me. Getting the ball isn’t the only way I can help the team win. Community service keeps me humble and gives me a good understanding that it’s not all about me and helping others feels good. Being selfless is one of my best qualities.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, just learning to always have fun while I’m working to achieve my goals. Sometimes I get so locked in, I forget to actually have fun. I’ve always had a fear of failure and not making it to where I want to be. Also, growing up as the only child for so long made it tough for me to learn how to share. My little sister has taught me a lot.

What type of college are you looking for?

Colleges that are the right fit for me not only on the football field but off it as well. I’ve grown up watching Ohio State my whole life, so I want to go to the college that will gives me the opportunity to play in front of a big audience. I would also like to go a college that has really nice uniforms!!

Though he was selected to play Defensive Back in the UA Next 8th Grade All-American Game, Weller-Massey is best described as an Athlete (ATH) in my opinion. In 2024 he shined all over the field for Pickerington Ridgeview Junior High School as a Running Back, Wide Receiver, Defensive Back and Linebacker. He impacted all three phases of the game and helped the Tigers to an 8-0 record, not allowing more than six points in a game until the final game of the season.
