Ohio Scouts

Born and raised in the suburbs of New York City, Mike Bey now resides in Cincinnati. A lifelong football fan, Mike discovered his passion for football scouting when he joined the Scouting Academy in December, 2016. In 2017, he was a Football Video Scout for Sports Info Solutions. In 2018-2019, he was a Player Personnel Scout for the Carolina Born and raised in the suburbs of New York City, Mike Bey now resides in Cincinnati. In 2018-2019, he was a Player Personnel Scout for the Carolina Cobras of the National Arena League where he was responsible for scouting college players in KS, NE, MO and OK. He was a Football Data Analyst for Tracking Football from October, 2019 until November, 2020. In addition to scouting for Prep Redzone, he is currently a Recruiting Analyst for the Middle Tennessee State Football team, an Area Scout for the Hula Bowl and a scout for the All 22 Global Scouting Network. He is also a Solar Design Engineer for a Solar company based in Cincinnati. Mike holds a BA in History from SUNY Binghamton, an MBA from the University of Houston-Victoria, a M.S. in Sport Management from Southern New Hampshire University and graduate level certificates in Executive Leadership and Athletic Administration from Cornell University and SNHU respectively. He brings the same drive and work ethic to his football jobs that he did to his work in graduate school. His motto is "when you want something bad enough, it is incredible how far you can push yourself".

Jared has been following Ohio high school football and recruiting for over 20 years. He scouted for Eye-Scout LLC for 2 years where he scouted over 20 division 1 athletes and five power 5 players. He contributed and was editor of the Browns101 website for 2 years and was referenced by Espn.com. By joining Prep Redzone he hopes to bring exposure Jared has been following Ohio high school football and recruiting for over 20 years. Mike Robinson is a 2x Ohio State Champion football coach and a former high school head football coach. After studying at the University of Toledo, Mike started his coaching career and his business 4th and Goal Training, LLC. Mike lives in Northwest Ohio with his wife Tiffany and daughter Rylie Rose.

Covering Northeast Ohio high school football for the past 14 seasons, Matt began his career after graduating high school and earning a job at the Lorain Morning Journal in 2009. Matt attended Kent State University and continued covering high school football for all four years of college for the Record Courier. One of the only college students hired to work for the Record Courier, in 2011 he was a member of an award-winning high school football section as recognized by the Cleveland Press Club. In 2012, Matt covered the Kent State football team and worked with several players going through the NFL draft process. Joining the high school football coverage team at The Plain Dealer/Cleveland.com in 2017, Matt has covered the biggest schools in Northeast Ohio for one of the largest newspapers in the country. Starting in 2018, Matt has appeared as a regular on-air guest on the Overtime on WKYC Cleveland to provide an in-depth look at players and upcoming matchups during the regular season. Scouting and profiling many athletes that played on Saturdays and Sundays, Matt brings expert knowledge of the Northeast Ohio high school football scene and is excited to highlight a new crop of athletes.
