All you have to do is throw on the tape from the second half of this season for Kayleb Barnett Kayleb Barnett 5'10" | WR Jenks | 2025 State OK out of Jenks and that should tell you all you need to know. Barnett moved to Jenks in the spring and had to sit the first few games of this season. And once he was eligible, it was somewhat of a slow start for Barnett as he got used to the offense and the offense got used to him. But once Barnett found his stride, he was impossible to contain in one on one situations. Barnett is a 100 meter dash state champion so he could say he’s the fastest player in the state. He’s not the biggest receiver in 6A-1 but when he gets the ball in the open field, he’s not going to be caught.

The Trojans will have quite a few newcomers this fall but senior wide receiver Kayleb Barnett Kayleb Barnett 5'10" | WR Jenks | 2025 State OK could be the biggest addition in the playmaking category. The 2025 product is the reigning 6A state champion in the 100M dash and that speed is absolutely lethal in the open field. After watching him this offseason in 7v7 and then with the Trojans in the spring, we’re convinced that he’s going to be one of the top offensive threats in 6A-1. The Trojans have speed everywhere on the offensive side of the ball but Barnett is at the very top of that list. When he gets the ball in the open field, he leaves defenders on skates and is looking to have a monster senior season in 2024.

After watching Broken Arrow 2025 standout Kayleb Barnett Kayleb Barnett 5'10" | WR Jenks | 2025 State OK with TheUNIT Platinum on Saturday, we were convinced that we were going to write about him as a defensive back standout. Barnett, who’s mostly been known for making plays as a wide receiver on offense was outstanding at the safety position in multiple games we watched on Saturday. Barnett used his speed to track the ball in the blink of an eye and when he got there, his leaping ability was off the charts as he separated the receiver from the ball. But on Sunday, Barnett came back and made plays at wide receiver. He once again caught our attention with his blazing speed and ability to separate from anybody.

Broken Arrow 2025 wide receiver Kayleb Barnett Kayleb Barnett 5'10" | WR Jenks | 2025 State OK will be a speedster to watch for TheUNIT Platinum this weekend. Barnett has emerged as a legitimate D1 prospect as he’s pulled in a few offers since the end of his junior season. Barnett is absolutely electric with the football in his hands and he’s your prototypical slot receiver that does the majority of his damage after the catch. Barnett is an absolute playmaker and we’re looking forward to seeing what he and this team are able to do as they expect to contend.

Broken Arrow junior wide receiver Kayleb Barnett Kayleb Barnett 5'10" | WR Jenks | 2025 State OK is coming off arguably his best performance of the season. The Tigers bounced back in a big way with a blowout win on the road against Enid. Barnett shined bright and if he keeps this going, the Tigers will start building momentum towards the playoffs. Barnett is absolutely electric with the football in his hands and he’s going to be a wide receiver to pay attention to moving forward. The Tigers have dealt with injuries throughout the season but Barnett is a bright spot in this Broken Arrow offense right now. This fall, Barnett’s recruitment has started to take off and it’s probably not going to slow down anytime soon. Barnett is climbing the ladder in a deep wide receiver position.

After a three-game skid, Broken Arrow bounced back in a big way on the road by beating up on Enid 44-20 in week eight. The offensive side of the ball was incredibly efficient and junior wide receiver Kayleb Barnett Kayleb Barnett 5'10" | WR Jenks | 2025 State OK was very impressive in the win. He led the Tigers in receiving with 175 yards and two touchdowns on 12 receptions. Barnett is an absolute burner on the field and he got the opportunity to showcase his speed a few times in Enid. It’s been a tough season for Broken Arrow but having a speedster like Barnett on the outside gives the Tigers something to build on as we close out the regular season. And despite the 2-6 record, Broken Arrow is very much in the playoff hunt because those two wins came in district play. Barnett and the Tigers could give teams fits in November.

Similar to Bates, Broken Arrow 2025 standout Kayleb Barnett Kayleb Barnett 5'10" | WR Jenks | 2025 State OK is going to be an absolute playmaker for the Tigers on the offensive side of the ball and in special teams. Barnett had a breakout season as a sophomore last fall, finishing the year with over 1,100 all purpose yards as he was an explosive player within their offense and as a returner. Barnett is a serious speedster that doesn’t have the prototypical size but he’s incredibly strong. He doesn’t shy away from contact and does what he has to do to fight for the extra yards. Barnett is definitely a player that we’re going to keep an eye on because the Tigers are going to get creative with how they use him this fall.
