has firmly established himself as one of the top offensive linemen in the state. At this time last year, we were writing about Penny more on the defensive side of the ball but then he became an outstanding left tackle and would earn All State 2nd Team honors as a sophomore. Penny was becoming a national prospect prior to his sophomore season but there is no doubt now that he’s one of the very best in the country’s 2027 class and not just Oklahoma. Penny is continuing to develop his game and will be the anchor of an offensive line that should be a very talented unit. On that title-winning 2-point conversion, the Spartans ran right behind Penny.
