Union will more than likely be without their star quarterback and that will put a freshman into the backfield for Union. He’s a big play threat and has been all season for the Redhawks. Last season, Boyd was Union’s leading wide receiver and he’s definitely up there in terms of touchdown receptions at this point. Boyd is similar to Thompson where he’s not the biggest receiver prospect in the class, but it hasn’t mattered because Boyd runs crisp routes, gets open but it doesn’t matter if he also has a defender draped all over him, he finds a way to get to the ball and make the catch. Boyd has been a prospect to watch on the 2024 radar for us for a while now and more college coaches are starting to take notice. Look for Boyd to be one of the bigger difference makers during Union’s playoff run.
