Yet another wide receiver that I feel like we’ve seen quite a bit over the last two years is Choctaw wideout Jax Smith Jax Smith 6'1" | 195 lbs | WR Choctaw | 2023 State OK . Not only has he teamed up with the top quarterback in the state’s 2023 class for school ball. But he’s joined Steele Wasel Steele Wasel 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Choctaw | 2023 State OK in the last few offseasons while playing with Sooner 7. That work has definitely helped the two Yellowjacket teammates develop a chemistry that is hard to match in this class and in 6A-2 in general. Like some of the other standouts on this breakdown, Smith doesn’t wow you with his production in terms of stats. Choctaw spreads the ball around every single week. But Smith does all the little things correct on the football field. He’s a very physical player that also excels in blocking for his teammates down the field.
