Choctaw has been a dominant team for the majority of this season and it all starts with the quarterback position. Senior QB Cash Williams Cash Williams 6'1" | 205 lbs | ATH Choctaw | 2025 State OK has been such an underrated playmaker over the last two seasons and he should get more credit across the state. Williams is committed to Tennessee for baseball as one of the best baseball players in the state but make no mistake about it, Williams can get the job done under center. The Yellowjackets have an incredibly balanced offense and Williams is the conductor of that side of the ball. He has a great feel for what Choctaw wants to do offensively and finds ways to be successful. Since his comeback season in 2023, Williams has been one of the best quarterbacks in Class 6A-2.

At this time last year, we were talking about the return of Cash Williams Cash Williams 6'1" | 205 lbs | ATH Choctaw | 2025 State OK after he had his sophomore season cut short in 2022. We mentioned how Williams had the versatility to be one of Choctaw’s top options on offense and he ended up stepping into the role of quarterback early on in the season. Now, Williams gives the Yellowjackets a very good option as a true dual-threat quarterback. But he’s also not the only one on the QB depth chart fighting for that QB1 spot. So don’t be surprised if Williams spends some time at different positions as he looks to give his team the best chance to win. He proved yet again last year that he is an outstanding overall athlete.

Back in August, we wrote about five players to watch this season that were primed for comeback seasons. Choctaw junior Cash Williams Cash Williams 6'1" | 205 lbs | ATH Choctaw | 2025 State OK was one of those players. After being more of a utility player that could play multiple positions, Williams eventually won the starting quarterback job. For the majority of this season, Williams was a massive threat to run the football and put up some monster numbers on the ground. Towards the end of the regular season, Williams started dominating in both aspects at the quarterback position. This fall, Williams committed to play college baseball at Tennessee. He’s an outstanding athlete that had a massive comeback season this fall.

Choctaw junior quarterback Cash Williams Cash Williams 6'1" | 205 lbs | ATH Choctaw | 2025 State OK came into this season in a battle for the QB1 spot after three-year starter Steele Wasel graduated. Williams eventually earned the position and he has been one of the breakout stars this season. Williams was a utility player for the Yellowjackets last season before his sophomore year came to an end with an injury. But Williams has become one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the class this season. Williams has been playing some of his best football at the best time right now.
