Gillespie is a space stuffer up the middle for Edmond Memorial and he’s going to end up being one of the more experienced prospects in this class after getting significant playing as a freshman and then being a consistent player in 2022. Gillespie is definitely a prospect to keep an eye on moving forward this spring and summer as more coaches get to check him out in person. We’ve been talking about this 2025 class for Edmond Memorial since they were all freshmen and for good reason. Gillespie is part of a group that can make Edmond Memorial a winning program once again.

has been the most productive of the defensive linemen on this breakdown. He’s the only prospect out of the four that have significant playing time as just a defensive lineman this fall and he’s an absolute load in the middle of the line of scrimmage. When it comes to defensive linemen in the state’s 2025 class, it’s hard to argue that Gillespie is the best interior lineman. And then you look at the success that Edmond Memorial has had on the field. Gillespie and the Bulldogs have not only turned things around, but they are closing in on a playoff spot and have a chance to be a dark horse in the 6A-1 playoff picture.
