Choctaw’s versatile standout Kentrell Gaddis Kentrell Gaddis 5'11" Choctaw | 2028 OK II moved up ten spots in the latest ranking update and cracks the top ten at #10 overall. When you look at the 2028 class as a whole, Gaddis is one of the hottest prospects in the state right now. He’s picked up a handful of offers from D1 programs and that probably won’t slow down anytime soon. Gaddis is a name that we’ve known about for a little over a year now and the versatility and overall speed he has in his game makes him very intriguing to watch moving forward. When we caught Gaddis in person in 2025, we saw him going to work mostly in the secondary. But there’s a lot of potential in his game to move around and do other things. For now, we have Gaddis listed as an athlete and the arrow is definitely pointing up as the highest ranking stock riser in this update.

Finishing this breakdown with Choctaw’s Kentrell Gaddis Kentrell Gaddis 5'11" Choctaw | 2028 OK II and he’s another ’28 prospect here that’s listed as an ATH but could be moved to DB eventually. We’re not ruling out Gaddis being an absolute playmaker on the offensive side of the ball but he’s having a very solid season on defense and specifically in the secondary. In fact, we’ve gotten a chance to see Gaddis going to work in the secondary and there is so much potential there for him to be an absolute dude. And maybe we shouldn’t be surprised considering the amount of dudes that have come out of Choctaw recently and specifically in the secondary. Gaddis is a name where the arrow is only pointing up moving forward and we’re looking forward to seeing the full body of work this season.

Right now, it feels like Choctaw’s Kentrell Gaddis II Kentrell Gaddis II 5'11" | ATH/DB Choctaw | 2028 State OK is going to be the ultimate swiss army knife for the Yellowjackets moving forward. Whether he’s lining up as a running back or wide receiver on offense or lining up on defense, Gaddis has the potential to change the game. We watched Gaddis in person in the spring and he was an absolute dynamic weapon on the offensive side of the ball. And honestly, he reminded us a lot of Choctaw 2025 standout JuJu Smith with the amount of versatility and overall playmaking in his game. And Gaddis is doing it very early on in his career. We’re looking forward to seeing how Choctaw utilizes him this season. Gaddis is going to be a name to watch this fall as the Yellowjackets look to defend their state championship.
