Stats: 8 Receptions, 100 YardsrnOne of the best WRs in the Class of 2024 from his freshman year to his senior year ended his career with a strong performance. His team didn’t get the gold ball like they hoped, but Brooks did what he could. The senior WR is a nuanced route runner with good speed out of his breaks. His hands are some of the best in the state, and have been fora long time. The speed is there to get downfield, and he can also win with quickness in the short passing game. He stepped up on the biggest stage, and I can’t wait to see him at the next level.

The 5’10” 182 lbs WR is a walking big play. He has 4.5 speed to take the top off the defense and run away from defenders in the open field. Jacques is also a quick twitch athlete who is hard to contain. In the bubble screen game he can make defenders miss in tight spaces and then accelerate to top speed. Where Brooks separates himself is with his elite hands. The highlights are full of examples of him making concentration catches in traffic. He has very soft hands. So much so that he has proven he only needs one made to reel it in. Don’t miss out on this dude. He is our highest ranked WR without a D1 offer.

Jacques is at the front of the pack here in WI when it comes to athletes worth going outside of a position threshold for. His 5’10” 182 lbs frame doesn’t jump off the screen and catch your eye. Do not let that stop you from watching this dude. Jacques is one of the best receivers in the state. Throw out the size, and enjoy watching him work. Jacques has high end hands. Hands that give you faith that if you can get the ball close he is going to come down with it. It doesn’t matter if it is contested or not. The play speed is there in spades as well. You will repeatedly see him pull away in the open field, and eat up cushions at the start of his route. If you’re looking for receivers here in WI then you can’t overlook the Franklin standout.

While Jacques isn’t the biggest athlete at 5’10” 180 lbs he does hav eth traits to play at a high level of college football. His ability to track the ball and adjust to it are hard to match. His soft hands and rare hand-eye coordination allow him to make the highlight reel catch look simple. His body control and acceleration give him a major advantage in the route running department where he easily creates serration from DBs. After the catch, Brooks sees the field well. He seems to always know where a block is or what move to make in the open field. Don’t overlook the Franklin athlete. He has been one of the best at his position his whole career.
