I recently scrolled the rankings and saw that there are still several juniors who have D1 talent and are looking for that first offer. That is going to be the focal point of this article. We are going to take a look at the film of five athletes who look like they are up next to receive a D1 offer. We start with a big play WR out of Franklin HS.
The 5’10” 182 lbs WR is a walking big play. He has 4.5 speed to take the top off the defense and run away from defenders in the open field. Jacques is also a quick twitch athlete who is hard to contain. In the bubble screen game he can make defenders miss in tight spaces and then accelerate to top speed. Where Brooks separates himself is with his elite hands. The highlights are full of examples of him making concentration catches in traffic. He has very soft hands. So much so that he has proven he only needs one made to reel it in. Don’t miss out on this dude. He is our highest ranked WR without a D1 offer.

We are going to be in for a show when it comes to Jackson Braden Jackson Braden 6’3″ | 290 lbs | OL Badger | 2024 State WI this fall. I strongly recommend you get on him now instead of later. The dominant guard played at 270 lbs last season and is up to 295 lbs now. I can’t wait to see how much of a mauler he is with that added size and strength because in 2022 he dominated the trenches. Jackson has superior, next level strength and heavy hands. He runs right through defenders without much resistance as he sends them to the turf. His initial strike has proven to be devastating for DL and LBs. Braden also has the range to effectively pull across the formation or get up to the second level. He is a force in the running game, and I think he is just getting started.

The 6’3″ 290 lbs is one of the top DL in the Class of 2024. Teams looking to bolster their trenches need to check out the Middleton lineman. Dominic has a next level worthy blend of quickness and strength. Watching through the tape, you see that Frost can win with his body control and agility. He can slip through gaps and leave OL punching at air behind him. Then he can dig in and hold the line after getting good hand placement on the OL. From there he is able to shed the block with his strong hands and then make the tackle. Frost is an exciting prospect who I expect a big rise in play from this season. Keep him high on your radars.
Highlights
One of the most impressive athletes on the hoof is the 6’5″ 290 lbs OT out of Hortonville. One of the most impressive parts of his game is that he is able to dominate in both power or zone blocking schemes. There are plenty of examples of him bulldozing out of his stance with his wide, powerful base and heavy hands. He will reset the line of scrimmage 5+ yards down the field and bury defenders. Then the next play you will see him running laterally while maintaining his block and getting the leverage needed to wall off the defender. His athletic lower body and powerful upper body should have the next level excited. Don’t overlook him.
Another OL who looks to be well on his way to being a D1 level athlete is the All Conference OT out of Baraboo. He has a budding frame at 6’5″ 265 lbs. It is a frame that is ready to pack on the size and strength. He has the long arms needed to be able to initiate contact and gain control quickly. Kyle also has impressive athleticism and range. He is able to slide and change direction in pass protection well. As his strength takes that next step in development we are going to see him game tape skyrocket. Make sure you are well aware of the junior.
