Coming into the day, I couldn’t wait to see Braden and his dominant run blocking. There was no disappointment. The senior is overpowering with strong hands and the leg drive, plus the flexibility to play low and win the leverage battle. Badger set the D2 single game rushing record on the day, and only completed 1 pass. So the defense knew what was coming. It didn’t matter. Braden was able to create a ton of movement in the trenches and open running lanes you could drive a truck through. Mankato has an absolute mauler on the way to them in 2024. It was a special final performance for Jackson.

We are going to be in for a show when it comes to Jackson Braden Jackson Braden 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Badger | 2024 State WI this fall. I strongly recommend you get on him now instead of later. The dominant guard played at 270 lbs last season and is up to 295 lbs now. I can’t wait to see how much of a mauler he is with that added size and strength because in 2022 he dominated the trenches. Jackson has superior, next level strength and heavy hands. He runs right through defenders without much resistance as he sends them to the turf. His initial strike has proven to be devastating for DL and LBs. Braden also has the range to effectively pull across the formation or get up to the second level. He is a force in the running game, and I think he is just getting started.

An OL who has steadily climbed the rankings is the dominant Badger junior. Jackson has grown and filled out to an impressive 6’4” 270 lbs with room to continue to add strength. The run game is where Braden has made his mark. He absolutely mauls defensive linemen and sets the tone in the trenches with his very physical, and nasty mentality. Braden uses an excellent blend of hand placement, heavy hands, quick initial burst, and raw power to gain leverage, and then plow Dl off the ball and reset the line of scrimmage multiple yards down the field. Teams wanting to establish the run early and often need to get their eyes on Jackson.

Rise: Watch List up to 48rnJackson is another prospect who began his climb up the rankings with a strong showing at the prep Redzone WI Prospect Tour this past May. Jackson has great size at 6’4″ 260 lbs, and an athletic background that should perk up the ears of next level coaches. Jackson is an accomplished wrestler to go along with his football play. That background shows up on the gridiron. You can see his use of leverage at the Showcase and in game film. Jackson also is able to comfortably play low to the ground and bend. Look for him to make himself known on a weekly basis this fall.
