Oliver is so twitchy that he can sit in zone, read the QB or what is developing around him and explosively close on the ball to make plays. Even if it wasn’t his original assignment Oliver has shown he can make plays. The 2027 is a legitimate playmaker with legitimate next level traits. A dynamic two way athlete that should have a big summer and senior season is the Badger CB/RB. Oliver has some strong tape available to watch. Tape that shows a CB who can play man or zone. His athleticism allows him the ability to turn and run with his back to the QB and still be able to stay in position to make plays on the ball. Oliver can also read the QB’s eyes and use his closing speed to jump routes and bait QBs into bad throws. At RB you see that speed on full display as he is used to stretch the defense laterally and get the edge. A job he can do at a high rate of success.
