The THIRD LB from Franklin HS in WI that caught my eyes was Will Graffin Will Graffin 6'2" | 195 lbs | LB Franklin | 2024 State WI . Will is a very athletic prospect. The 6’1″ 187 lbs athlete posted a 9’6″ broad jump, 34″ vertical jump, 4.85 40 yard dash, and a 7.26 L-Drill. That athleticism is well used in his role on the Franklin defense. Graffin is used at OLB and out in the slot. There he is able to use that strong athletic profile to cover ground in space. He is able to read and react, change direction on a dime, and his range allows him to run with slots and TEs. This kid is a riser for me, and will be a strong chess piece for a DC at the next level.

The 6’2″ 195 lbs OLB/S is an intriguing chess piece for future DCs. Will is at his best playing out in space. You will see him out near the slot a lot of times presnap. Out there he is able to play to his strengths. Will is an athlete who thrives with his athleticism. Change of direction, acceleration, and closing speed all give him the advantage over his opponent. Being out in space also allows Graffin to use his instincts to diagnose plays quickly. Then he can put himself in proper position to make plays. The Franklin LBs are going to be fun to watch, and need-to-know prospects.
