Roper is one of the elite talents, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know these past couple of years. Roper measures in at 6’5 305, he can play tackle or guard. He has elite knee bend, balance, and flexibility. He maintains a low pad level and dominates. Elite strength. Elite initial quickness out of his stance. Elite hand speed and very good foot quickness. He consistently grabs the defensive line/ edge rusher before they can react. Elite hand placement and hand strength. Roper dominates whoever is in front of him. Roper has a powerful anchor, and doesn’t let the edge rusher beat him. He’s a very good pull blocker as well. Very good reaction time. Roper is one of the top talents in the country, already garnering a plethora of D1 offers. He’s one of the most coachable players I’ve seen. He’s very humble. I haven’t given as many elite talents EVER as I have Roper. He will be playing on Sundays , mark my words.

Winning MVP out of the offensive line, the young Roper continued to solidify why he’s one of the up-and-coming linemen coming out of Colorado. Roper was 2nd in the shuttle, wingspan, and tied for second with the L-drill. Roper uses his very good strength to overpower the defensive line. Very good quickness out of his stance. Roper uses his elite hand placement and very good and strength to control the DL. Good lateral agility, matches the footwork of the defensive line. He has a powerful anchor, not able to get knocked off his feet. This kid should be getting more attention as the years go by and more people realize his potential. He’s a crucial building block for Regis Jesuit’s future, and I can’t wait to see what is in store for him.

Even when faced with more experienced competition, his ability to adapt and execute without much coaching demonstrated his potential as a top lineman. As a 2027 prospect, Roper’s performance not only solidifies his status as a rising star but also marks him as a foundational piece for Regis Jesuit’s future.
