In limited touches, he made the most. He has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, change of direction, good acceleration, and balance. Very good vision to weave through the defense. Not afraid of taking big hits and will occasionally bounce off the tackles. Good release and route running skills. Very good ball tracking with good catching. I wouldn’t be surprised when Sarno gets more touches this upcoming season!

Sarno is one of the more explosive new additions to the 2027 rankings. Despite being in a deep Cherry Creek backfield, Sarno made his presence felt with the Mile High Prep team this summer, slicing through defenses and showing burst on every touch. He has home run speed, great vision, and quick acceleration that allows him to turn small creases into big plays. Though he may see limited carries during the season, Sarno has proven he’s a dynamic back to keep tabs on. Look for him to shine again next summer on the camp circuit and in the Prep Super League.

Sarno flashed major upside on JV last season, routinely taking over games with explosive plays. He blends excellent vision with elite acceleration, hitting top speed quickly once he finds a crease. Sarno also adds value as a pass catcher out of the backfield and is a tough tackle in space. On a deep and talented roster, he’ll need to earn his touches, but his skill set makes him a strong candidate for special packages. Don’t be surprised if Sarno becomes a breakout name as the season unfolds.
