Expert Analysis

Farbes has been another linebacker who’s shown out at our events before. He continued where he left off and didn’t disappoint. During the L-drill and pro-shuttle, he demonstrated his very good balance, body control and good bend. During the linebacker portion, he showed off his very quick and controlled footwork in between the cones. Very good concentration to not miss the cones and still come down with the catch at the end. He did a great job in the competitive portion. Using his very good read and reaction speed, he put himself in position to consistently make a play. Used his very good lateral quickness and range to disrupt and create plays for the defense. Farbes has started the off-season hot, and with continued performances like these watch out !

Farbes is an energetic defender who maximizes his opportunities and contributes in multiple phases of the game. Competing on a loaded Cherry Creek roster, he embraced his role and made the most of limited snaps, finishing with 15 total tackles. Farbes shows good vision and timing when shooting gaps, allowing him to meet ball carriers quickly and limit gains. His speed and effort translate well to special teams, where he provides additional value. Entering the upcoming season, he appears poised to carve out a larger defensive role. With increased opportunities, Farbes has the tools and hunger to significantly elevate his production.

Does a great job stuffing gaps and plugging the run. Good range as well. Good blitz take off speed. I’m excited to see how Farbes continues his development this upcoming season.

Farbes flashed raw ability throughout the event, showing traits that can be built upon with continued development. He displayed a quick get off and used his strength effectively when bull rushing, creating push when attacking blockers. While his pass rush arsenal is still evolving, the effort and physical tools are evident. Farbes posted solid all-around testing numbers that highlight his athletic baseline and his movement skills suggest room for growth as his technique sharpens. He projects as a linebacker who can benefit greatly from offseason reps, particularly in the 7v7 circuit, that will allow him to refine coverage skills. With focused development, Farbes has the potential to turn raw talent into consistent production, making him a name you need to know through the summer.
