He’s developed into a D1-level prospect with more room to grow both physically and developmentally. Lanham played left tackle this season for the Redskins and should translate well back to guard in college with a ton of potential and upside at that spot. He’s a versatile and well-rounded offensive lineman with good feet and natural athleticism that he’s maintained while adding size. Lanham is also a strong athlete which shows up on film with powerful hands and driving ability that’s placed him as one of the best big men in this class.

The senior big man drove defenders off the ball all game and you could find him driving his man 5+ yards down the field at times. He’s performed well in his transition to left tackle this season to fill a large void for Hurricane and has done so at a high level. Lanham has been one of the highest stock risers in the state since his younger years and has developed into a top OL prospect in this class.

His progression has been fun to watch through the years going from a mainly defensive line prospect to growing into a D1 OL prospect. The Marshall commit has taken over at left tackle for the departed Da’Ron Parks this season and the Redskins haven’t missed a beat. Lanham has helped pave the way for a dynamic rushing attack this season which has already posted over 2,100 yards and 27 touchdowns through seven games. He’s gotten bigger and stronger during his junior and senior years and still has maintained his high level of athleticism for his size.

We got to see him up close at our PRZ WV Combine earlier this year where he earned OL Top Performer honors and you could see why Marshall is betting on him to develop into a future D1 college starter. Lanham is an athletic big man who has grown into his body well over the past few years and has put himself in a position to be a D1-level prospect. He’s a physical player on the field which paired with his footwork and quickness makes him a well-rounded guard. Lanham is an imposing puller and blocks well in space given his athletic background.

Lanham has had a strong showing this off-season at various camps including our own Combine back in early May where he earned one of the OL Top Performer spots and the hard work is beginning to pay off. The 6’3 265 big man picked up his first D1 offer from in-state Marshall earlier this month as colleges in the region begin to take note of what Lanham has to offer. He made huge strides in his development from his sophomore to junior season, and we expect another jump going into his senior year. Lanham has done a great job getting bigger and stronger while maintaining his athleticism along the way which has put him on college radars before his senior season has begun. His quickness and footwork for an athlete his size impress and give him a great base to build on as he continues to fill out his frame and add the size needed to play at a high level in college.
