The second Hurricane big man who raised his stock this season was left guard Braylon Brown Braylon Brown 6'1" | 275 lbs | OL Hurricane | 2025 State WV . Brown is another mauling run blocker that helped produce a prolific Redskin rushing attack this season. He has a strong lower and upper body and showed he can turn his man and drive them to the ground on film. Brown picked up an offer from Glenville State this month and is a very good D2 prospect that more schools need to get eyes on.

2025 OL Braylon Brown Braylon Brown 6'1" | 275 lbs | OL Hurricane | 2025 State WV should make a big leap from his junior to senior season and be a full-time starter this season. Brown saw spot duty as a junior as the Redskins had a loaded OL group but was a talented player in his own right. He’s picked up offers from WV State and Rio Grande (OH) this summer as momentum builds for his senior year. His body will keep developing over the next few years but once he reaches his full potential in time the patience will pay off for a college program. We anticipate him being a stock riser in the rankings after the season once we have his senior film.

Brown has the athleticism and physicality to put it all together in his final season and become one of the top OL prospect in this class.

If we could fast-forward six months into the future, 2025 Hurricane OL Braylon Brown Braylon Brown 6'1" | 275 lbs | OL Hurricane | 2025 State WV may be one of our highest stock risers in the class with a potential breakout senior season. His role at the varsity level has been limited to date, but Brown should be a full-time starter in 2024 and has impressed at prospect camps this off-season. That has paid off for Brown with offers from WV State and Rio Grande before his senior year has begun as we expect big things from him in 2024. From watching some camp clips on his social media, Brown is progressing well with his footwork and technique while being athletic for his size. While 6’1 265 is still on the smaller side for scholarship-level offensive linemen, Brown clearly has the frame to grow and fill out to get to that level in time as he continues to get stronger and develop his body.

Once we see more varsity game film from him this season, Brown will likely climb higher in our rankings if he puts it all together for his final year.

Hurricane OL Braylon Brown Braylon Brown 6'1" | 275 lbs | OL Hurricane | 2025 State WV is a prospect that is primed for a breakout senior season for the Redskins after seeing some action as a junior. Hurricane will lose several key contributors on their offensive line from a season ago opening up an opportunity for Brown to solidify one of those spots in 2024. This will be a big off-season for his development as he continues to get bigger and adds strength to his 6’1 265 frame. From watching his available junior midseason highlight tape, you could see the potential Brown flashed in 2023 with the opportunities he got on. Brown has a good guard frame and size and should develop into a quality D2 or D3 college prospect as he fills out more. Physicality was also apparent throughout his tape with pancake and knockdown ability. Natural footwork and quickness could also be seen, and Brown has a solid athletic foundation to build on heading into his senior season. He’s still raw as a prospect and athlete, but there are tools to work with there and could be a potential late bloomer who can work himself into a quality college prospect in his final year of high school. Brown has a chance to be one of our highest OL stock risers next season if he takes the next step in his development.
