Tulane is getting a steady OL prospect with position versatility in Cooper. The play strength and light-footedness set up the intrigue here. He does a good job creating push, mirroring pass rushers, and getting to the second level. I think his balance is impressive, doing a good job of staying engaged at the beginning, middle, and end of his blocks. He is a tone setter on the offensive front for TCCHS and has been for a few years.

Deontavis Cooper Deontavis Cooper 6'3" | 295 lbs | OL Thomas County Central | 2026 State GA is a well-rounded OL prospect who almost strictly plays at RT for TCCHS. Cooper’s feet set up his entire game. For a 300-pounder, he is fleet-footed, allowing him to mirror pass rushers and make timely adjustments. He plays with impressive balance, finding a way to stay on his feet, even in uncomfortable situations. In those situations, you can spot his feet working hard to reset his base. His hands can get wide, but he punches hard and can ragdoll defenders to the turf once he gets his hands on them. He is athletic enough to get to the second level and get his hip around to shield running lanes. Cooper might not have prototype tackle size, but his feet should compensate for that. He has more room to tack onto his already stout frame too. Cooper has several FBS and P4 offers.
