A quick, instinctive defensive lineman who moves a little to fast for bigger, heavier offensive linemen, Andrews is fresh off a really strong junior season for the state-champion Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets. One of the top 2027 EDGE defenders in the region, Andrews has a nose for the football and knows how to make a big tackle in the trenches. The 6-foot-2 240-pounder made 32 tackles, 17.5 TFLs and 4.5 sacks to go along with 20 more QB pressures. He was one of the more consistent defenders on a loaded defense and should be even better as a senior in 2026. He already has an impressive offer list and added a new one last week from Middle Tennessee State.

Andrews is traitsy and packed full of raw athleticism. He is quick off the line and light on his feet, helping him penetrate early and threaten both shoulders of blockers. He is heavy mitted, landing strong punches and jarring blockers onto their heels. I am expecting it to be a busy offseason for Andrews, where he will be more firmly on the recruiting scene as a senior.

Isaac Andrews Isaac Andrews 6'2" | 210 lbs | DL Thomas County Central | 2027 State GA first caught my eye in the playoffs this past year and has since added an offer from Uconn. Andrews is set to help lead the next generation of TCCHS stars. He is already built well for a sophomore, listed at 6’2 230. He flashes impressive lateral quickness, allowing him to shadow ball carriers and cut across the face of blockers. He uses his distance to keep his chest clean and strikes with powerful punches. He works hard to shed blocks and always seems to find his footing and recover. Andrews will generate FBS buzz soon and he is set to play an even bigger role as a junior.
