Brooks, one of the best LOS prospects in Georgia, is an easy eval. He is a strong, cut prospect with desirable length and explosiveness. He is quick off the line and uses his length to quickly attack the chest of blockers. He creates separation with his chest, making it easy for him to shed. He flashes good pursuit to the football as well. He is committed to Cal. and it’s hard to envision a world where he doesn’t contribute quickly out west.

Cam Brooks is a guy I have watched in person for the past two years on top of film. His ability to run stop on top of the pass rush is very, very impressive and at his size he is a force and a guy who could break or set some records this year. Keep a watch on him!

I have watched Brooks up close two straight seasons in the playoffs and one thing that stands out about Brooks is his pure dominance and size. At 6’4, Brooks is able to use his length and reach the backfield in a hurry with that big first step. His ability to fight off tackles is one of the best I have seen in a while. The ability to get in the backfield with ease and stop the run or pressure the quarterback is a big asset for Brooks and in comparison in that sense, it reminds me of former Rome and Georgia Bulldog Adam Anderson with the ease of getting into the backfield. Brooks and Anderson are moreso different types of ends with Adam standing at a 6’6 range but the mastering of getting in the backfield at will is very similar. Brooks is a force and will be a great player at the next level. This season I expect him to have his best season yet.

Brooks is ready to go physically today. He hovers around 6’3 240 and plays even bigger due to his long arms. He uses his length to keep his chest clean and drive blockers onto their heels, which he then leverages with an explosive first step and the bend to catch the corner and get after the QB. Brooks is an easy eval. He checks the measurables boxes, gets to the football in a hurry, and flashes the motor to pursue the ball across the field. He is a truly elite prospect who will find the field early at the P4 level.
