Darion Moseley Darion Moseley 6'0" | 155 lbs | WR Thompson | 2027 State AL has risen to our #15 spot in the state and is now our top WR in our 2027 Rankings, and after the season he put together last fall for Thompson, it’s hard to argue otherwise. Moseley is a big WR who thrives off of his speed and route-running, he gains tons of separation from DBs at every level of the field, consistently making huge plays against some talented 7A secondaries. Moseley is highly versatile in his team’s offenses- lining up inside/outside and completely bullying opposing DBs with his combination of size and speed. Moseley does a great job taking advantage of smaller DBs- frequently on tape you’ll find him winning one-on-one matchups for the ball, fighting through contact and making huge catches over the tops of defenders. Moseley was highly productive against some talented defenses across the 7A last season, ending his sophomore year with 53 receptions for 757 yards and 13 touchdowns. With how well he’s played, Moseley has seen his recruitment open up a ton- he’s just recently picked up offers from Vanderbilt, Washington, Mississippi State, and more.
