is another wide receiver that has been an absolute star in Oklahoma since his sophomore season. We’ve mentioned this before but in his very first game as a sophomore, Adams was so dynamic on the offensive side of the ball that he seemed destined to be one of the top prospects in the state. Then it was around this time last year that Adams had a 72-hour stretch where he was offered by Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M, making him a truly national prospect. Unfortunately, Adams was only able to play half of one game as a senior. He got hurt in the season opener against Bixby and would have season-ending surgery.

, he had nearly his entire senior season wiped out because of a shoulder injury. Adams got hurt in the first half of the season opener against Bixby and has been out ever since. The Alabama commit has been one of the more electric playmakers in the state since his freshman year and really had a breakout season in 2020 as a sophomore. Adams truly became a national prospect this offseason when in the span of 72 hours, he was offered by Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M. When you get a trio of SEC schools like that offering you in a short time span, you get on a whole new radar. One of the biggest “what ifs” we have for this season is how Owasso would have looked with Adams in the lineup.
