lining up at wide receiver as well, which would open things up for Hills in the passing game. With Adams suffering a season-ending injury in the first game of the season, Hills became the go-to weapon in the Owasso passing attack. Hills would end up being the top playmaker in the Owasso offense, not just in the passing game. Hills definitely enjoyed a breakout season and quickly became one of the top wide receiver prospects in this class. And he’s just scratching the surface on what he can be as a prospect.

in the first game of the season. While it’s not easy to replace a prospect headed to Alabama, the Rams have found success. The emergence of senior wideout

has certainly helped the Rams this season as he’s become their leading receiver on the season. And it started in that game against Bixby in late August. With Adams down, Hills had a big second half and despite the Rams coming up short in week zero, it was apparent then that Hills was on the verge of having a breakout season. And that’s how this year has played out. Despite being the number one guy and teams knowing that going in, Hills has still been able to produce in a big way.

came up with some big plays and catches at the right time. On third down, he came up with a diving catch that picked up the first down for his team. Another impressive play is that he ran a slant and came up with a one-handed catch for about 2 yards. On this catch, he reached back and grabbed it without trouble or hesitation. One of the most impressive plays he had was that he made a 41-yard diving catch, despite the defender being on his back. In the fourth quarter, his team faced a third and six, and he was able to draw the pass interference to pick up the first down for his team. The last big play that he had was in the fourth overtime. His team faced a third and 10, he came up with a big catch and dove into the endzone for the touchdown. He has a solid frame for a wide receiver, being 6’3. He knew how to utilize it well to create space, come up with big catches, and by knowing how to extend for diving catches. His play was impressive and crucial for his team to pull off this crazy win.

. When Adams went down in the first game of the season, that vaulted Hills into an unpredictable position. He’s become Owasso’s leading wide receiver and not only has he embraced the role, he’s produced in big ways as Owasso completely bounced back from that 1-4 start. Even in the games that Owasso lost, Hills still found a way to be productive and was usually one of the bright spots within the Owasso offense. Going against a very talented Union secondary, Hills will have his work cut out for him but he’s answered every call so far this year.

going down in the season opener, Hills has turned into the leading receiver on this Owasso team. He leads the team in receptions, yards and touchdowns and has definitely raised his stock as a wide receiver prospect in this class.
