Myers Park didn’t get a lot going consistently in the passing game in this one, but Portis had the most juice out of their receiving core here. His blazing speed allowed the Mustangs to hit him for a 43-yard TD pass, beating two West Charlotte defensive backs in coverage. There were some other times where Chaz was open, but couldn’t get the ball on him consistently. I’m excited to see what Chaz does on the next level, he can be a dangerous playmaker in space.
