Expert Analysis
Paul Gregorian | Prep Redzone Scout
Williams was one of the more athletic offensive tackles we have seen in a long time with elite footwork, body control and ability to comfortably block in space and stay within his frame. He snaps quickly out of his stance, shows a powerful punch at the point of attack with inside hand placement and is a true technician from his tackle position with elite mobility and the ability to get out and blocking space. He was a multi offer guy that blew up last spring and is currently early enrolled at Washington State. The 3-star recruit offers good position versatility at the next level and honestly could find his home at any of the five positions along the offensive line.

Williams is a violent and aggressive blocker at 6’2” 275 lbs. Played OT for one of the top teams in the state but size could see him slide to the interior at Washington State. Possesses rare length at 6’2” with a +8 inch wingspan at 80.5”. Great all around skillset combining his natural ability, physical playing style, and precise technique. He’s a plus athlete that is light on his feet to move laterally and work to the second level while also showing great initial quickness of the ball and reactionary movement. He accelerates at the contact point to drive through contact and overpower opponents with natural strength but also effectively uses his hands to maintain positioning. Well-coached he shows he can execute different blocks and techniques at a high level depending on the play call and defensive front. Another guy that should’ve been more highly recruited but lands at Washington State over four other D1 offers.

had an excellent showing at the Under Armour Next All-American Camp and was very good Sunday as well. His name was heavily discussed for MVP and he could have easily been a Co-MVP.
His footwork is very good from the tackle spot and he knows how to adjust his game and play on the interior too. He has a wide base, fast feet and is quick enough to use his footwork to neutralize speedy defensive linemen.
Williams has offers from Washington State, Fresno State and received an offer from Boise State Monday.

Williams has serious speed for an offensive lineman and even though he took most of his reps at tackle, I like him as an interior lineman at the college level.
His hand fighting was excellent and he nearly always had his hands in the chest of the defenders.

Williams plays right tackle for Orange Lutheran but projects as an interior lineman at the next level.
A transition to guard shouldn’t be a problem for Williams because he is so fluid with his movements. He pulls effectively and blocks down well in the run game.
As a pass blocker, he has a solid first step and picks up blitzes well. This is a big offseason in the weight room for Williams, but he has a ton of upside.

Saturday was my first time seeing Williams in person and I thought he could have been a MVP of the day.
His footwork at tackle is solid, but he is likely a guard at the college level. He does a good job anchoring to stop the bullrush and keeping his hips between the defender and the quarterback. He cuts off the inside rush moves and knows when to bury the defender when he over-commits.
Williams does a great job keeping his chest up and back flat. He has a lot of upside and can play anywhere in Orange Lutheran’s loaded offensive line.
