The Orange Lutheran prospect moves up in our rankings inside the top 500 overall and inside the top 50 at his position. He’s coming off a season where he was one of the best defenders in the vaunted Trinity League and is very active both inside and outside of the box while able to make plays outside the tackles and thump inside as well. He’s a very fluid player that shows quick change of direction, pass rush abilities when applying pressure and is a consistent tackler in the open field that takes the proper angles and can knife quickly into the backfield. He is a no-brainer next level guy and has been under-recruited throughout his prep career.

The rising senior is one of the top returning defensive players in the vaunted Trinity League going into the 2024 season. He is a complete mike linebacker with elite closing speed, great physicality in the box and is extremely explosive in the short area that explodes through contact and can make plays consistently behind a line. He shows good closing speed and open field tackling abilities while seemingly very comfortable in space and shows he can cover downfield as well. Pre snap, he recognizes plays quickly and is a very balanced linebacker that plays at the highest level of competition in the state. Wallace-Filemu has been severely under-recruited throughout his prep career and is a no brainer high impact college caliber player.

He showed good lateral quickness and did a good job breaking down before contact to read the running back. Filemu has fast feet and flew through the individual drills fluidly.
