Maroni has been a great linebacker for Grandview this season. Measuring in at 5’10 195-pounds, he has 62 total tackles (13 solo, 49 assisted), 3 TFL. He has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed, jumping, and lateral quickness. Very good competitive toughness and relentless pursuit. He is usually the first player to make contact on defense and chases defenders down the field to make the play. He’s got good tackling and good block shedding. Good tackler and good in zone coverage. His high motor is shown throughout the film, and it helps elevate his teammates as well. Great performances by the linebacker.
