Aamir Williams Aamir Williams 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB/WR Loudoun Sports Academy | 2027 State VA earned an MVP for the defensive backs at the showcase. He was outstanding the entire showcase. His ability to use his size (6’0″), strength, and athleticism to guard wide receivers is impressive. During one-on-one period, he was a lockdown cornerback. You could call him Williams Island; that’s how talented he was as a player. He put on a show, and he showed he earned the MVP for the defensive backs.

Loudoun Sports Academy had a nice win over Mount Zion last week and Aamir Williams Aamir Williams 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB/WR Loudoun Sports Academy | 2027 State VA was outstanding in their victory. The highly regarded defensive back seems to have transition nicely in his new settings. Look at some of the plays he made in their win, Williams has a nose for the football that should start to transition to interest from coaches at the next level.

He too should start to get notice from colleges by seasons end. Williams is 6’1 and 170 lbs., good size and speed for the next level too.

I’m very familiar with Williams. I had an opportunity to scout him in person earlier this year at a camp in Pennsylvania.

Williams is an aggressive defensive back who is not afraid to challenge receivers at the line and makes plays on the football. He successfully closed the gap between him and a receiver on one play and ultimately broke up the pass. I thought he could have done better in positioning himself in the red zone. Improving his transitioning and route anticipation in off-man coverage will take his game to another level.

The 16th ranked defensive back Williams should garner a ton of interest from Division 1 schools soon now that he is at Loudoun Sports Academy. We have gotten to know this talented prospect when he came through to our January showcase and earned a top performer spot. He is smooth at corner and will fit in nicely under Coach Woods defense.

La Plata’s Aamir Williams Aamir Williams 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB/WR Loudoun Sports Academy | 2027 State VA is a darn good defensive back that was one of the first kids to sign up for our Virginia showcase. A member of Maryland’s 2026 class Williams had a good season with 2 interceptions and 55 tackles. He is sure to do well this weekend and I would expect him to work with the wide receiver group too. One of the most relentless kids when you watch on tape, Williams motor does not stop.
