Codrington was a staple in this Iona Prep secondary for the past three years and he had a great senior campaign to end his high school career. He formed a scary duo with Terron Johnson Terron Johnson 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB St Thomas More Ct. | 2026 State New E as they were two of the best pure cornerbacks in this league. I was very impressed with how he stacked up against bigger receivers, as Codrington was very physical and he also had no problem slowing down speedy deep threats as well.

Jaden Codrington Jaden Codrington 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Iona Prep | 2024 State NY is a really twitchy quick athlete that can move with anyone in the state. While he lacks some size at only 165lbs he plays much bigger than his size. Codrington plays mostly on the outside as a cornerback but shows the sticky coverage skills and awareness to move to the slot at the next level. Despite his size, Codrington is actually really good at breaking up contested catches and does a good job of challenging the catch point. Codrington also has really good break on the ball on shorter routes in front of him where his quick twitch ability allow him to make plays on the ball while not being overaggresive.
