About Jefferson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a dual-threat quarterback. I try to be a smart player who can also run when I need to. I like Cam Newton because he is a strong leader, and I like how Lamar Jackson plays because he is exciting to watch. I try to pass first and make good choices. If the play breaks down or I see an opening, I am ready to run and make a play. I just want to do whatever helps my team win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a hard worker and a good student. I want to be a leader on and off the field. I like to focus on my goals and stay disciplined with my training and schoolwork. I am always trying to get better at everything I do. I try to stay calm when things get tough, and I always want to do what is right for my team and my family.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the Kappa League. We do a lot of work in the community and learn how to be better leaders. In February 2026, I was named the National Kappa Leaguer of the Month. I am proud of that award because it shows my hard work. I enjoy helping other people and doing my part to make my community better.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned how to be a leader and work well with my team. Being a quarterback helps me lead my teammates on the field, especially when we are behind. In the Kappa League, I work on service projects to help people in my community. This taught me how to listen to others and reach our goals together. These things help me be a better person and a better teammate.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced times where people treat me differently because of my race. That is not fair, but it makes me stay strong and keep working hard. I spoke before the school board about the problems in our school. I was very nervous but took a deep breath and said what I believed. It showed me that I can be strong, speak up, and stand for what is right.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want a college that is good at both football and school. I want a college with a great Political Science program and ROTC. I want to stay near Virginia so I can see my family, but I also want a place that helps me learn how to live on my own.
