Korchagin started to generate a lot of buzz about this time a year ago, and I was always fully invested. He generated major P4 attention, but is locked in to start his career at South Alabama. Korchagin played C for TCCHS, but at his size and with his athleticism, I think he can play up and down the line. He is light enough on his feet to get across the face of defenders and has effortless play strength at the point of attack. He plays with such a smooth pace, especially for someone with just a few years of football experience under his belt, which is why I am bullish on his upside.

Korchagin, a Cal commit, is one of my favorite 2026 OL prospects in Georgia. He is well-covered at this point. Here is a write-up on him from this offseason:
“ Isaac Andrews Isaac Andrews 6'2" | 210 lbs | DL Thomas County Central | 2027 State GA first caught my eye in the playoffs this past year and has since added an offer from Uconn. Andrews is set to help lead the next generation of TCCHS stars. He is already built well for a sophomore, listed at 6’2 230. He flashes impressive lateral quickness, allowing him to shadow ball carriers and cut across the face of blockers. He uses his distance to keep his chest clean and strikes with powerful punches. He works hard to shed blocks and always seems to find his footing and recover. Andrews will generate FBS buzz soon and he is set to play an even bigger role as a junior.”

Artem Korchagin Artem Korchagin 6'5" | 310 lbs | OL Thomas County Central | 2026 State GA has long been one of my favorite 2026 OL prospects in Georgia and he is now firmly planted onto the P4 recruiting scene. Korchagin has played strictly C in his career, where his large frame and strength allow him to dig out and move nose tackles. He plays with good bend and pad level, allowing him to work up and through defenders. He flashes a mean streak as well, often impact-blocking and steering defenders off his feet. He does this at a ready-made, impressive-looking 6’5 310. The fact that he has only played football since 2022 makes his game more impressive. He is good now, and might still have his best ball ahead of him.
