One of the must watch athletes coming into the camp was Franklin standout RB

. The ’24 didn’t disappoint either. He checked in at 6′ 200 lbs, ran 4.60, broad jumped 9’2″, vertical jumped 33.3″, and had a blazing 7.07 L-Drill. I watched Terrance up close during the RB drills. The L-Drill time was well represented in the drill work. Shelton proved to have elite body control that allowed him to cut or juke laterally, and change directions while maintaining his balance and top speed. Shelton Jr. was so smooth going through drills. He also proved his three down versatility when they started catching passes. He showed off soft, natural hands and good body control along the sideline to catch passes and stay in-bounds. Shelton only further locked up his spot as a top prospect in the Class of 2024 here in WI.

A fantastic PrepRedzoneWI Showcase alum and MVP, things are finally coming together (as predicted) for the 6’1, 195 lb. back out of defending state champ Franklin High School as he received his first P5 offer from Nebraska on October 20th and followed it up with a Boston College offer four days later. Shelton has been productive this fall, posting 1,736 yards and 20 TDs through the regular season, and on tape, the speedy and balanced RB shows impressively nimble feet and solid vision that make for easily broken tackles and the ability to impact the return and screen game. Shelton also knows how to use that size to his advantage, and his regular season tape is a fun watch and must be even more exciting to see in person. No surprises out of the PRzWI crew, this dude has been a baller for a while and was an integral part of Franklin’s big-school state title last season. He just visited Iowa State last weekend, and it sounds like multiple programs from a variety of conferences in the P5 ranks are in touch.
