Ranking the Future: New Jersey’s Top 2030 Defensive Backs

The talent level from North to South in the state at both Corner and Safety, is the deepest I have seen in nearly 20 years of covering the middle school level in New Jersey. Multiple DBs already report verbal offers from Power 4 (P4) schools. Johnson was the DB MVP award at our Prep Redzone Next Middle School Camp in NJ and went on to win MVP at every other event he's participated in. Long limbs and the ability to flip his hips and run with long strides make him tough to beat. Teach. Chadwick didn't play football in 2025, after taking a reclass year and training. With the Woodward twins transferring out of BC, look for Chadwick to play right away. A violent, downhill headhunter type of a player that projects best to Strong Safety. While there is still a very large part of me that thinks he will eventually transition to Linebacker, as of right now Moore is a DB to know.
