In the 2025-2026 season Amos established himself as a prospect who is going to come every play with everything he’s got. A tough kid who closes quickly and keeps his hips low at all times. Had a nice showing at The Rize 2026 to solidify my thoughts.

was one who was a bit handsy. Amos can unquestionably run with anyone; additionally, the rising 9th grader is physical with opposing receivers throughout the entirety of their route. That said, Amos appears to be a prospect that uses his hands a lot. This is something he ought to be mindful of, as some of the plays were a bit questionable in terms of pass interference. Get the wrong ref, and they are certain to throw the flag.
Amos is a prospect who I like more on the defensive side of the ball as he progresses through High School. He has good footwork, and drops his hips well when changing direction. I like his speed, and using his arms, and his body has helped him in Pass Coverage.
At the defensive back and wide out position, a name to watch at the “RIZE” is Jaylen Amos and Amos is a guy who has showed what he’s about at Seton Hall Prep in New Jersey. He’s got the chance to really make some noise in Jackson, New Jersey at the “RIZE” camp!
