Crawford has a tremendous break in the now game, flying up and clocking defenders all over the field. This allows Crawford to break up pass attempt as they arrive or force pass catchers to the ground immediately. A safety, he is a superb run support player. Crawford does a great job of keeping his arm free when engaged to secure tackles.

At 6 feet, 190 pounds, he already brings solid size, good length, and notable explosiveness. He lines up mainly in the slot and in the box, where his physicality shines. One thing that immediately pops is his ability to tackle. That’s been a consistent trait for defensive backs coming out of Seton Hall Prep, and Crawford fits that mold.
Where he can take the next step is in coverage. Right now, he doesn’t have many pure coverage reps on film. But with his athletic traits, there’s potential for growth. He’s earned a Division I offer from Wofford based on that early upside, and now it’s about expanding his game. If he can develop more on the back end and sharpen his ability to cover in space, Crawford could emerge as one of the top box safeties in New Jersey.
