let up a single pass his direction during any of Slime U’s games that I watched. Haiden stays very low in his back peddles and moves with fluidity that you don’t often see in his age group. When he needs to transition back up field, he does so with authority and accelerates out of the transition to keep tabs on his man.
On offense, Haiden’s smoothness transition to quickness in his break and the speed to get away from the DB. He has a keen eye for coverage’s, seeing the flow of the secondary and making it an easy pitch and catch like in the video below. Haiden is not only the top NJ DB in my mind, but is climbing up as one of the top overall athletes in the entire state.

Wouldn’t be a complete list without the overall defensive MVP of the day. He’s an ultra physical DB that was also one of the best athletes at the entire event. The most impressive thing about Haiden’s game, which is something young DBs tend to lack, is playing the ball all the way through the catch. There were a few reps where, despite initially giving up a catch, he played through the ball and was able to knock it out. He’s smooth backpedaling, moves easy in space. I enjoyed the energy and intensity he brought to the field, and took notice that he intentionally lined up against

, the overall offensive MVP, multiple times. He wants to line up against and face the best, which is an awesome mindset to have at DB. Athleticism + technical skills + mentality? Look out. He’s gonna be special.

Following a Defensive Back MVP performance last year, Redman joined the record books by becoming the 5th New Jersey prospect to win back-to-back MVPs at the New Jersey Prep Redzone Next Middle School Exposure Camps. The son of former Pittsburgh Steelers Running Back, Isaac Redman, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in terms of ability. He was locking more dudes down than the East Jersey State Prison. I’ll go on record to say, that I think he has the potential to be No.1 overall 2030 prospect in the state when all is said and done.
His back-to-back MVP selections puts him in the company of impressive company:

was the standout defensive back of the combine, and it was no surprise when he walked away as the MVP. Since last spring, he’s clearly gone through a growth spurt, so much so that it took a moment to recognize him, but the added size has only strengthened his game.
Haiden has developed into a polished shutdown cornerback, pairing his added weight with the quickest feet of any DB at the event. His change of direction is seamless, moving with fluidity through every drill, and he consistently excelled in man to man coverage. A true pass disruptor, Haiden battled the top receivers at the event and came out on top in every matchup, proving he can dominate against the best competition.

is a defensive back who thrives on the outside as a true corner and continues to separate himself every time he steps on the field. The reigning MVP of last year’s spring event, he beat out every 2029 prospect to earn the title, and this will mark the third time seeing him compete. Simply put, he is the best middle school defensive back I have evaluated since

. Haiden plays with confidence and consistency, routinely taking on top receivers and eliminating them from the game plan.
In coverage, Haiden sticks to receivers like glue, showcasing some of the cleanest footwork you will find in the secondary at any level. He is extremely shifty and sticky, with elite reaction skills that allow him to change direction on a dime. It is exceptionally difficult for receivers to create separation or find any sustained success against him. With an argument for the highest ceiling of any player heading into this event, Haiden is the type of prospect you circle ahead of time. Expect a standout performance and another strong statement from one of the premier defensive backs in his class.

will be the #1 DB in the NJ 2030 class. There is not a doubt in my mind that high school and college coaches would agree if they see Haiden in action.
Haiden won MVP honors early in the offseason at the Next Combine, and that included the 2029 class defenders. Haiden dazzled on the field with elite footwork, agility, and exceptional change of direction capabilities. Haiden was never out of position and consistently anticipated the throw and reacted accordingly. In my view, Haiden is not only the top DB in the class, but quite possibly the top defender as well. Pay close attention to what he does in 25-26.

Haiden, the only 2030 player to win MVP, has arguably the brightest future of any defensive back I’ve seen over the last two camps. His crafty footwork and exceptional change-of-direction skills stood out, allowing him to react to a receiver’s movements in an instant. Explosive off his plant foot, Haiden’s ability to quickly adjust and anticipate the throw was remarkable. He consistently got his head around just in time to break up passes, making it difficult for receivers to gain any traction against him.
With his combination of anticipation, quickness, and explosiveness, Haiden has all the traits to excel as he moves into high school and beyond. Receivers had little success going up against him, and it’s clear he’s a player with a lot of potential. His future in football is very promising, and he’s definitely one to watch as he continues to develop.

An extremely agile and shifty prospect, Redman is a versatile chess piece on the football field. The son of former Pittsburgh Steeler RB Isaac Redman, the pedigree at the position is obvious. However, Redman is used in the slot a great deal and looks like a zero turn lawnmower gaining the edge. Also looks like a natural as a Cornerback too.
