The No.5 Defensive Back (No.1 Safety) in the New Jersey 2030 class, via Prep Redzone Next as of August 2026.
Played his youth ball for the Irvington Golden Knights
Played his spring ball with the NJ Crushers
As noted in bold above, Carson may be the 5th ranked DB but he is definitely the No.1 Safety in this New Jersey 2030 class. A few years ago Carson was the exact type of kid that non-public schools would have plucked out of Newark, but with the resurgence of the program at Shabazz High School, he is staying put. A violent, downhill headhunter type of a player that projects best to Strong Safety. Can also play WR too, but looks like a killer patrolling the box.
