Happy Rankings Week! We released our updated 2028 class rankings on Monday, and we've been churning out content. As always, I started the week by going behind the scenes of the update, and then wrote about the class as a whole. Now, we're in the process of evaluating every single player who rose in the rankings. Here are our 2028 offensive line stock-risers.

Every time we see new film, or evaluate him again in person, we come away more impressed with Hall. It actually helps that he was undersized when we first saw him, because he could only win with technical ability, good pad level, and leverage. Now, 6'6" and almost 300 pounds, he's maintained that same technical ability, but with better reach and more weight behind everything he does.

Hollifield projects as a potential Power Four prospect as an offensive lineman, and he put together a stellar season for the 3A State Champions. Hollifield obviously needs to add weight, but has the length and a frame that suggests that won't be any issue, and he has two years to get up to college playing weight. He's nasty as a run blocker and has the athletic ability to get to the second and even third level. He's balanced and calm as a pass protector, as well.

It can be difficult to evaluate linemen in South Point's offense due to their narrow splits and unique scheme, but Suttle's talent is obvious. He's added some weight since we first evaluated him, and he had a stellar season as a run-blocker for South Point. What's even better is that when put in pass protection drills at camps, he's looked right at home, even outside the scope of what he's usually asked to do on Friday nights.

We initially ranked Wedderburn off of a handful of plays we saw from his freshman year when evaluating the film of one of his running backs. As a sophomore, his technique, strength, and balance all improved, and he became a more well-rounded tackle prospect. He was rewarded with All-Conference honors and looks like a potential elite prospect if he continues to develop.

Any time a player can start at left tackle for the 7A State Champion, you know that guy has some special qualities. He's one of the strongest linemen in the state, especially in the running game, and he can cave the entire side of the defensive line on outside zone runs. He's a developing pass-blocker with decent reach, and we expect him to continue to grow a bit into a college tackle. Even if he doesn't, the movement and strength make him an ideal college guard, as well.

Petrovich has gotten better and better with in-game experience, so it certainly helped when Middle Creek made a long playoff run to the 6A State Championship. His play strength far exceeds expectations for his size, and he's one of the quicker interior linemen in the state. Assuming he maintains his flexibility and balance as he adds some weight, he's a surefire Division 1 prospect.

Hames is a guy who has been on our radar for years, and he improves every time we see him. A true center prospect, his snaps are crisp, and he understands the protections for the entire line. He's a high-I.Q. player with plenty of strength in the running game to displace defenders, and an understanding of blitz packages and stunts in the passing game.
