Happy Rankings Week! We released our updated 2028 class rankings on Monday, and we have a ton of content on deck. As always, I started the week by going behind the scenes of the update, and then wrote about the class as a whole. Now, we're in the process of evaluating every single player who rose in the rankings. Here are our 2028 wide receiver stock-risers.

J.H. Rose has traditionally produced more running backs than receivers, but Parson is bucking that trend. A true two-way player, we've gone back and forth about which position to rank him, and for now, we've settled on receiver. He's as explosive an athlete as you'll find, and he scored as a rusher, receiver, kick returner, and punt returner this season. Based on the season he had, no one should be surprised that he was one of our biggest overall movers in this rankings update.

Beasley brought explosive capabilities to a Swansboro offense that hasn't had many huge plays in recent seasons. He excelled as both a receiver and runner, going for over 1,000 yards from scrimmage. When Swansboro needed a play, they went to Beasley, who did plenty of damage as a runner near the end zone and can score from any yard line. He had a 35-plus-yard catch in seven of 10 games for the Pirates.

Hunter was Hoggard's easy button, as a bunch of his yardage came either on pop passes and screens, or when plays broke down, and they needed him to make a big, off-schedule catch in traffic. He plays far bigger than his size would suggest, especially at the catch point and in the open field, as he showed surprising strength as a sophomore.

Hutchens has size, speed, and elite ability at the catch point. He's a hands catcher who rarely drops passes and shows unbelievable strength on contested catches. This season, he added some weight and improved his release package. At this rate, he's going to be a truly elite prospect by the time he graduates.

Dulin has followed a breakout year on the football field with an outstanding start to his basketball season, showing his versatility and athleticism. He put up nearly 900 yards as the top target for Davie County, impressing with his speed, route-running, and strength at the catch point along the way. I'm already wondering if we bumped him enough in the rankings, as he looks like a potential FBS receiver.

Lynch is one of the most electric players in the state, and we can truly say he'd be in the conversation for the top player in the entire class if he were 5-6 inches taller. He's young, and he's likely to grow some, but even if he doesn't, he's a Division I prospect who is almost impossible to bring down in the open field. He runs a full route tree, but often the most effective strategy is just to put the ball in his hands and let defenders look silly.
